Dear Madam or Sir,
We are pleased to inform you that FABEC will hold its first "Environmental Day" on 5 July 2021 at Geneva Airport Press Centre. The conference will also be accessible via Weblink for those people who cannot travel.
Society expects the aviation industry to make a significant contribution to climate protection. Air navigation service providers help to ensure that aviation is not only one of the safest modes of transport, but also to reduce its environmental footprint. By creating environmentally friendly approach and departure procedures, efficient routing that is as direct as possible, and the introduction of cross-border operational control systems, FABEC air navigation services enable airlines to reduce fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
What are the achievements, expectations, roles and challenges facing air navigation services in the environmental field? The 1st FABEC Environmental Day is dedicated to discussing and answering these questions.
A formal invitation will be issued in due course with the details of the meeting and registration information. At this moment in time, we would kindly ask you to block 5 July in your agenda.
